Webcam turns on when a game starts

Its new to me cause this has never happened before and as of right now all i have is the driver installed. at first i thought it was the software but now i dont know what could be causing it. the webcam is the logitech c920. and with this going on i cant use OBS cause its in use.

Most likely your game is hijacking the camera for it's microphone. Either change the mic settings there or make the default mic something else.

in windows i have it set to my corsairs mic at one point i did do that and it was still on but now it turns on then off after a game starts
