hi I do not have imaging device in my device manager, may be for that I web cam is not working

Try to manually use the Add New Hardware wizard. We need more info though... if your using Vista it could be that Vista has no drivers. Also give me the model number of the camera.

Yes it is vista ultimate & camera is creative web cam vista mod:VF0330.
