Hello guys.

So, I upgraded from Windows 7 up to Windows 10 yesterday and immediately saw that the whole display had stretched on the homescreen, internet, everything. I have a really bad monitor and am not sure that the resolution on the monitor could be the problem!?

The main issue I am having is that some webpages, YouTube and gamebattles for example are super stretched. This is the case for Google Chrome and on Internet Explorer are both the same.

As for the whole display, all I had to do was change the display size to 100% and it seemed to be alright. However, as for YouTube no matter how much I zoom in or zoom out the video size is super stretched. Gamebattles, on the other hand, I can simply zoom out of and it seems a bit small...

I am putting this in the Windows 10 section of the forum as before I did the upgrade all of the web pages were fitting well on my screen.

Thanks in advance for any help. I really appreciate it!

This is what I mean by "Super stretched". It is also on the background of my screensaver. It appears that the height has no problems but the resolution is a lot wider than it should be. I have looked into what appears to be the display setting and chosen the smallest resolution I can to make it fit, but still no improvement. Would you say that this is through fault of the bad monitor I have and if so, would buying a new one help?

Thanks!!!

I have looked into the screen resolution and have chosen the lowest possible.

Thank you mate, this has answered my problem. Legend, haha! I did look into doing this and told the drivers to install but they didn't. Without me realising I just blocked it haha. Thanks anyway mate!!!

Awesome! Enjoy!
