unless your system has write permissions on the particular website its highly doubtful most website are hosted and security and virus protection is part of the package.

virus on your pc....llok for floppies..usb stick...networked computers at home...emails. some newer virus look for cell phones and printers. as a tech the worst place to find a virus is from vendor printer driver disk. had it happen. not fun infecting s customer pc.
