Websites only being displayed as text

I'm having a problem with loading web pages. I just fired up my brand new build and installed all the updates and drivers but Youtube in Google chrome is only being displayed in blue text. Do i need to download java?

My time machine worked! But no you don't need to download or change anything in Chrome for any website to work and certainly not Java.

Did you install any adons like ad blocker or ghostry?

Yes i installed adblock.

It works if i pause adblock. I don't understand though, on my notebook youtube works fine with adblock enabled.

The adblock setting is probably set to high so its interperting everything google, which is youtube, to be an ad.

I had to turn off "malware protection" in the adblock settings for it to work which i find very strange.

I have the same problem, only disabling Adblock didn't help. It's a new build running win10. Any other ideas? Ony some sites do that and sometimes google search gives me a "connection not secure" screen.

are you running firefox?

it may not be adblock, are you running any other script blockers? Ublock Origin does that too on some sites but i refuse to not use it. Ghostery probably does it too.

Edit host filethat is located in Windows/System32/drivers/etc . Open the file with notepad and find line with text " s.ytimg.com". Delete that line and restart your browser. Thats all.
You must open notepad with administrator rights.
