I only use it during weekends and most of the time i play Dota 2 and CS:GO and sometimes COD : Series (GHOST, MW Series) Assassins Creed. Now, i want to know if it is enough for me to have a GTX 750 ti coz most of the time i play moba? Or to get the GTX 960 for future games?? The price difference is my country is almost $100 for those cards.

What resolution do you play at? What type of future games do you think you'll want to play?

The 960 is outright faster than the 750ti although as you note it's more expensive. Also what are the specifications of the rest of your machine? If it was an 'off the shelf' computer then you might not have a very strong power supply, in which case the 750ti is a good option as its the fastest card you can get without needing external power connectors.

If you have a reasonably (500W +) power supply you could also look at something like an AMD Radeon R9 270 or 270X as both are faster than the 750 ti whilst costing about the same....

I updated my post. Right now i only have 1366 resolution.

And about the future games i am thinking of Call Of Duty Black Ops 3, Batman Arkham Knight or games like GTA V.

Does GTX 750 Ti can handle that game?

And i am planning to have a dual screen.

Sorry, a bit late and didnt see the update. Your CPU and PSU can certainly handle it, no problems with them. I see no ssd, so I would recommend a 120gb ssd, like a samsung 850 evo.

I would recommend the gtx 960 or its equivalent like the r9 280, 280x if your budget allows it. But really it's up to you. It would definitely be a better upgrade over the 750ti. Heck, if there's no budget your cpu could even handle a gtx 970.

i updated my post mate.

Thanks!

If you want dual screen and some of those games are quite hard to run (especially GTA V), then you really need a faster card than the 750ti. Good thing is you have a good PSU so you can do that :)

I'd recommend looking at an R9 285 or R9 280X as the cheapest option for dual screen gaming. The GTX 960 only has a 128 bit memory interface so it starts to struggle if you push the resolution higher.

I mean a 750ti will run all those games, but you'll be having to drop detail settings quite a bit to keep it running smoothly, especially if your gaming across 2 monitors.

Thanks for the quick response mate. I have an issue with AMD cards, it is very hot in my place and temperature is also a problem with me. Any recommendations other than the AMD cards? Also i prepare CUDA coz i need to them in some applications that i am writing (coding).

Yeah sure, well I don't rate the 960 really (that memory interface really weak and they compensate by clocking the memory crazy high, I can see the things failing after a couple of years of use)....

I think your best bet would be look at some of the last gen Kepler cards. The GTX 760 and 770 are great cards if you can find them at a good price.

For now i think i will go on 750 ti and do the upgrade after a year? Is that all good?

Thanks for your effort mate. I really appreciate all the response here.

Cheers!

Yeah the 750ti isn't a bad card, it should cope with most games at 1080p on medium to high settings so you should be fine.

I know this has been solved but the 750 ti is actually quite a solid card for the price point but if your looking for more "future-proofing" then go for a 960 or an r9 290 for more solid gameplay. I have a 750 ti oc edition at present due to budget restraints and it handles all games i've thrown at it so far surprisingly well but im thinking of a 960 or a 760 SC as my next card.
