Question Weighing two monitors

I just finished upgrading my system to new specs after a year (just installed the gpu). I’m planning on upgrading my monitor, which I use primarily for gaming, but also quite a bit of photo and video editing. I am deciding between two monitors at the moment:

Acer Predator XB271HU 1440p 144Hz g sync IPS panel with a 4ms response time 27”

Or

AORUS AD27QD-SA 1440p 144Hz FreeSync IPS panel with 1ms response time 27”

I want to know if the better response time outweighs the lack of g sync.

My system specs are:
CPU: Ryzen 2700x
GPU: EVGA RTX 2080 FTW3 Hybrid
RAM: G Skill Trident (for amd) 16gb (2x8)
Motherboard:Asus X470-I

Note: The differences in pixel pitch, contrast, and brightness are not as important to me, as I said I primarily use for gaming.
