Question Weird 100Gb partition

long story short, while reinstalling windows i deleted 2 partitions (300Gb+ and 400Gb) of my 750Gb HDD. After installing win I started creating partitions and, for some reason, that 750Gb HDD was already divided on 2 unallocated parts, one is 107Gb and the second one is 600Gb. the problem is that it seems like i can't connect them. Partitions created from one of these 2 parts can't be expanded using unallocated space of the other part.

How did this happened and how to fix it?

Windows has been installed, i'm using the partition manager. Also tried using MiniTool Partition Wizard. None of these worked. Both see the HDD divided on 2 parts and both are unable to merge them

Edit: ok, i've found a problem. the MiniTool Prtition wizard also saw a 16mb part of that HDD reserved for something (like recovery). I deleted it and it automatically merged all 3 parts. Sorry for taking your time, people
