Weird audio anamolies after overclock

I have a desktop computer I built with and i7-7700k overclocked 11% and a GTX 1080 overclocked +245/+445 @120% core voltage with MSI afterburner. I don't have any visual glitches however every now and then when watching a video or playing a game the audio will distort or glitch. My temps are well under the limit and the CPU is below what I had it at before OCing the GPU. Is it a problem with the overclock or something else?

You have two variables (things which you changed). Try changing one back to stock and then flip it (OC-GPU + CPU stock, then OC-CPU + GPU stock).

Is your audio through the MB drivers or via Nvidia ones?
If you are connected to the audio out port on the MB, uninstall the Nvidia audio drivers and the geforce experience app.

It is through the MB. I will uninstall those and let you know if it works.

OC pushed a little to far I'd say. I've had audio glitches myself more than once on several builds over the years that turned out to be OC'ing a little to far, even if passing some stresstests.

Turns out there have been several issues with Realtek audio drivers, they recently updated things and that seems to have fixed it. Thanks for your feedback anyway.
