Weird audio problems since latest nvidia drivers

So as far as i can remember I started having this problem after the newest nvidia drivers. Pretty much what is happening is i will be on my computer and i can be doing anything from watching a youtube video to listening to music with windows media player, talking to friends on skype, or playing a game and all my audio will just go away. And if I happen to be watching a video on youtube or listening to music on windows media player, the video or music will stop too. and won't continue to go on. If I try to start a new song or video it will just sit there and load and load and load but never do anything. If I am in a game when this happens then i start to get a lot of constant fps drops that make the game pretty much feel like its stuttering really bad.

The only way I've been able to fix this is after I do a restart on my PC, then it won't happen again. It has only been happening after i turn my pc on, it usually takes around 30 minutes before it happens to.

Have you tried downgrading the NVIDIA drivers and checking what happened?

Sorry for the late response, been a bit busy. But I just tried that and it didn't work, I'm thinking of trying a clean install of the drivers and seeing what that does.

Okay so trying to reinstall the nvidia drivers didn't fix it either.
