[SOLVED] Weird behaviour with winrar and windows 10

Hello, recently I tried unzipping quite a large .zip file in D disk, and to my surprise, it unzipped in C disk, which is my smaller m.2 disk, temp folder, and only then all files transferred from C disk to D disk. Any comments? Should this happen normally?

It probably unpacked the files to a temporary folder on C: and when the job was completed, moved them to the destination disk/folder of your choice.

I agree with Nigel, especially if WinRAR itself is installed on the SSD.

Since its a zip file why don't you just use Window built in Zip to unpack directly
