Question Weird black blur glitch

Hello, all. I am at my wit's end on this and I hope someone will be able to help me.

When I play mafia 3 I get an odd blur effect when rotating the camera. Bright light sources and surfaces leave behind a black blur, almost like motion blur, except completely black. I have tried reinstalling, tried installing older drivers, tried everything I can think of.

The strangest part is that the glitch does not show up in screenshots or recordings.

Someone please help?

I greatly enjoy the game Mafia 3, but it now has a problem which has it's roots not in the game itself, but in my display.

When I rotate the camera in the game, any light source or surface, or even anything with a bright color, leaves behind a black blur until the camera rotation stops. Now, I know the problem is with my laptop display because, when I hook it up to my tv, the problem does not display on the tv monitor, nor does it show up in any recording or screenshot I take.

Does anyone have any ideas about this odd, odd issue?

if you know your way around laptop. open it up and check the cable

I most definitely do not know my way around my laptop. Suggestions for a good store to take it to if it comes to that?
