I had Windows 10 first, had soundbar stuck into my screen always, went away when restarted PC.

After that I though updating to Windows 11 would clear the issue, but no.
My current issues are:
- Spotify auto starts music and won't let me skip the song or play another one chosen manually.
- Middle mouse click for scrolling doesn't work, the icon just flashes and goes away.
- taskbar multi pages won't open, have manually go to Steam as example to check friendlist.

Windows event viewer gives alot of 131 and 201 error codes.
Restarting PC fixes the issue, but if pc is shut down for longer (Not sure how long), it will appear again most likely.

PC specs:
CPU: I9-12900k
GPU: Asus GeForce ROG-STRIX-RTX3070TI
RAM: Kingston FURY Renegade DDR4 3200 MHz CL16 16GB x 2
Motherboard: Asus PRIME Z690-P D4

Fixes tried:
- Reinstall windows twice.
- Scanned for corrupted files (found some + fixed), didn't work out

Where did you source the installer for the OS? BIOS version for your OS?

Spotify auto starts music a
that might actually be the app. See if any of these help

Do you mean the right click menu you get if you choose its icon?

Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

It doesn’t delete anything, it just stops non Microsoft programs running with start. Easy to reverse.

if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.

Middle mouse click for scrolling doesn't work, the icon just flashes and goes away.
does mouse have its own software? What mouse is it?
curious, Two problems appear to be mouse related... does right click work anywhere?
Strange it survives a clean install. Makes me think its hardware of some kind.

Have you tried another mouse?

- Scanned for corrupted files (found some + fixed), didn't work out
was this the scan?
right click start button

choose Terminal (admin)
if it doesn't open as powershell, click the drop down arrow in title row and pick from there

copy/paste this command into window:

Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth

and press enter

Then type SFC /scannow

and press enter

Restart PC if SFC fixes any files as some fixes require a restart to be implemented

First command repairs the files SFC uses to clean files, and SFC fixes system files

SFC = System File Checker. First command runs DISM - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/what-is-dism?view=windows-11

- Doesn't help if I try to stop Spotify via task manager.
- Right click works normally, but middle mouse click in website for scrolling doesn't work. The icon just flashes really quit. Also changing mouse ain't working. I am using Logitech G pro.
- SFC scan repair didn't work.

I am going next trying to reinstall windows via USB.

OS is installed to C: , there's nothing else besides the ones I cannot choose to install to different location.

Bios versio/date: American Megatrends Inc, 1620, 13th August 2022
SMBIOS-versio: 3.4
Bios model: UEFI

some suggested solutions here

I would expect there to be a newer BIOS since then but the Asus website refuses to show me any drivers for that board. On 3 different browsers. Have you run Armoury Crate to see if you on latest?
