[SOLVED] weird clicking noise coming from power supply

as the title says ive been having this weird noise

coming from my power supply for around a month or so now. Im not sure if its coil whine or something else and if its dangerous or not.

You really need to provide a lot more information.

What PSU? Does the click remain constant regardless of load? (Could be LLC burst mode)

Does the pitch of the click change with temperature? (Could be something hitting the fan)

oh sorry, the power supply is EVGA 600w ATX 80+ and yea the click remains constant regardelss of load, and it doesnt change with temp as well

EVGA 600W ATX 80+ is not a model of PSU, by the way.

I'm guessing you mean the W1?

If the tick is contant and doesn't change with load, return the PSU. That's not normal.

If it is the W1, return it for a refund and buy a decent power supply. Those W1's are pretty much the worse PSU you can possible buy.
