Hi,
Last night, the hard drive made some weird clicking noise. It started at midnight, and the computer has been on the whole day. It is a 2.5'' SATA HDD, 320GB Western Digital.
Now, the computer has been on for a few hours, and I do not hear any clicking noise anymore.. That makes me think that it could be an overheating issue, but none of my components are overheating according to different monitoring softwares, like HWMonitor and ASUS Thermal Radar. The only components that get's over 60 degrees celsius, is my VCORE1. And I believe that would be my VRM. It's located at the left side of the CPU.
Any conclusions? I have made a backup of the HDD, incase it will die.
I have googled it, but my gut dont believe it is the "Click of death".. Dont ask me why 😛
