Weird crash problem, crashing AFTER stress

This has been happening all summer and ive been trying to figure it out. My computer has been crashing when running and closing out of high stress programs. Initially, it would crash while playing Payday 2, then I had it crash a couple times when closing out of Civilization V. At this point, I replaced the PSU, but it didnt fix the problem. I started running a GPU stress test and the computer would run fine during the test, but would freeze when the test ended. I tested with a different GPU and the problem didnt happen, so I replaced the GPU. Unfortunately, the computer crashed while playing Payday again. I had been monitoring the temps on everything, and they dont peak when crashing. In fact, they usually seem to drop a bit right before a crash. Today, I was playing Dead Island: Epidemic, and when I was going back to the crib (which closes out of the main game) the computer froze. When the computer freezes, everything goes unresponsive and all audio cuts out. Its as if I had taken a screenshot.

Im planning on replacing my motherboard next if I cant find another solution, as I have already replaced the PSU and GPU, the CPU has been stress tested and has no issues, and I have run memtest without any issues. Any ideas as to what could be causing this issue?

CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: EVGA GTX 750TI
MB: ASRock 970 Extreme4
PSU: Raidmax RX-630SS
16GB RAM
OS: Windows 7 Hope Premium 64-bit

Nothing is overclocked, I was using CPUID HWMonitor to monitor the temps and voltages. I cant remember exact temps, but they were all withing normal operating ranges.

The GPU stress test was FurMark, I was using the Burn-in Benchmark 1920X1080 15min. Since replacing the GPU, I have been able to run FurMark with no issues.

Solution
IT might be the motherboard, yes the motherboard can cause the issue you mentioned,so can other components
A faulty hard drive can make your pc go insane(are you still booting from an old mechanical hard drive).

since you replaced gpu psu and run memtest without any problems. The only thing left is the hard drive and the motherboard.Swap out the hdd first and check if it solves anything.

I dont have a spare hdd with me. Is it possible to test the hdd with some program to see if there is an issue?

I ran both the automated and manual reads and they both returned good. Doesnt seem like the hdd is failing. Does this narrow it down to just the motherboard?

I guess that leaves only the motherboard.if you have access to a friends mobo try it first before buying a new one.
