Weird crashing on new system

Hey all, so I just made the move from z97 with a 4790k to x99 and am running an asus x99-A, i7 5930k @4.5ghz, sli gtx 780, and 16gb of patriot viper xtreme 2400mhz. I'm having a weird issues when trying to stream via xsplit. As soon as I start the stream and open a game I get more or less an instant crash. My whole system locks up and shuts down. I have seen a bsod a few times but its far too quick to see any error code. I tried blue screen viewer and it showed nothing. All my CPU OC settings were manually entered through the bios, I ran aida64 for awhile stressing everything. I also ran a combo of aida64 and heaven to stress CPU and gpu and I had no crashes at all. Games on there own run fine. Even tried to convert a movie via handbrake and that worked no problem. Cinebench r15 also runs perfectly. Could this issue be related to xsplit only? I used it with my z97 setup before with no issues. Any ideas? Not sure if its a hardware issue or just xsplit not liking something in my system. Any help would be great!

Seems alot of people have been having problems with XSpilt on the X99 platform, do you have the latest BIOS and mobo drivers (the ones that came with the mobo may well have been out of date

Yes I updated the bios almost right after I got the pc running. Might it be an issue with my overclock?
