Weird Disk Clean Up Issue: 128GB C drive showing +362GB in Disk Clean Up

Basically I have this issue where it shows a 362GB batch of temp files in my C drive's Disk Clean Up dialogue box, yet my SSD is only 128GB.

When I try to delete it the next time start up my system, it tells me my start up is broken, goes into trying to repair and just loops from there.

I tried restoring from a previous image I have backed up (from a clean install of win7) but the 362GB of temp files remains...

Does anyone know how to rectify this?
