Question Weird display of App logos on search screen

I am getting a weird "broken" logo display for my apps when i open up the search bar in windows 10. Any ideas?

You mean the five rectangular application icons split into 4 triangles?

Have not seen that before.

Did they show up after some update(s)? Check the Update history for what updates may have been installed.

What Windows 10 Edition, Version, and Build?

Check Personalization & Themes.

Right click the Start icon. If there are some new options I would expect to find them thereabouts.
