Question Weird electrical shock sound coming from pc

So I honestly don’t know what this noise is but I don’t know if it’s coil whine or not, but every now or then like 10-30 minutes or even an hour my pc will make a loud shock sound. The sound only lasted for about 1 second so it isn’t long. It doesn’t seem to affect anything at all in the pc since all the games I play still run fine and my pc hasn’t yet crashed after making that sound. So I was just wondering if anyone knew what this was and if they could tell me what component it was.

I don't think it's coil whine as coil whine tends to be more continuous.
Is there any way you can narrow down where it's coming from?

Well the thing is I would have to be sitting by my pc for like hours since it doesn’t happen that often.

Just for an experiment I might try a different outlet and a different power cord....maybe the case isn't grounded and you are getting some sort of static buildup.

I mean I do keep my pc on a carpet but I have been doing that for years with my other PCs.

There is nothing wrong with keeping the PC on the carpet if the case is grounded.
