Hey all,

I've been experiencing this weird glitch recently and couldnt manage to fix it on my own. Here is the recording of the glitch:
I actually experienced this thing like a year ago. A clean install of the operating system fixed the issue that time but couple of months ago it started again and no matter what i did, its still there.

Starting the solidworks in openGL mode fixes the issue but the performance is rather poor in that mode.

Here are my pc's specs:

Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, installed on a ssd
i7-6700K @ 4.50 ghz
16 gb's ram
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC GAMING ACX 2.0+, driver version 398.36
Solidworks is installed on a m.2 ssd, glitch happened in solidworks 2016, 2017, 2018

Thanks in advance,

It used to work just fine, my previous gpu was 660ti that one worked just fine too, i had this same problem once with that 660ti but again, a clean install of the OS fixed it. I mean i didnt get top performance compared to a cad specialized gpu but it was enough for me. My office pc has an amd gaming card and that one works just fine too.

So it seems to me to, my gpu is not the main problem here.

Lets say i bought a quadro p400, can i use it with the 980ti? I mean is it possible to set it up in a way that will make my pc to use that quadro p400 only for solidworks but use the 980ti for everything else?
