Weird hard disk issue

I have seagate 500 gb 5.4k rpm hdd. It is have some strange problem while booting. After powering on pc. It is not showing up on bios. But after changing it's port and again powering on makes it detected. I've to do this all times when i start pc after a day. I removed windows from it and installed it on my another hdd. So i understood it isn't mobo problem coz it boots up always without a problem. Can anyone tell me what's this weird problem having with this hdd?

vaibhavpathak982, the issue could be many things. Start with ruling out the HDD as the culprit. Download SeaTools and run the test to see what it comes back with.
