Weird HDMI cable coming out the back of my computer

Hello, i just got a PC from Cyberpower PC and when i was hooking it up, i noticed a very odd thing. On the back of the PC their is an HDMI cable that comes out about a foot from the back of the computer, this thing must have some kind of purpose or it would not be here.

MOBO: Asrock z270 extreme 4
CPU: i7 7700k
GPU: GTX 1080 Ti Founders
Ram: 16gb XPG 2133mhz
AIO: Corsair H100i V2
PSU: Corsair CX650M

Could be accidental left over from testing? You might want to check your pack list to see if it's listed. Otherwise, I'd give them a call and ask about it.

Is said cable perhaps connected to the DVI input, etc..? (May just be an adapter/gender changer cable used to quickly get a display out of the system during testing...)

Whats your case? I know certain cases have hdmi passthroughs to make vr setups easier such as the s340 elite- maybe something similar?
