Hello,

I have a 5-year-old Logitech g500 mouse and 3 year-old g510 keyboard. Never had a problem with either of them until a few weeks ago.

It's hard to explain what happens. Suddenly, when I'm playing a game, both devices, seem to start rapidly restarting. DPI lights on the mice, LCD and lighting on the keyboard turn on-off in sync with each other. There are no key/button/movement responses, completely frozen.

This used to happen once-a-week, then once a few days, now it's every day. It doesn't seem to happen when I sleep with the PC open, so I guess it happens during heavy activity.

Replugging the USB cable or changing the USB socket don't help, when plugged in they suddenly continue their on-off loop. However, any other USB device works properly, I can plug in another brand mouse and it works.

I was thinking maybe it's Logitech Gaming Software but before uninstalling it I wanted to ask here, because I use the macros/settings kinda actively.

Considered asking in Logitech forums but they tend to give scripted answers.
