This is a shot in the dark, but I've got an old Sony Webbie MHS-CM1. I've got a bunch of videos of my kid as a baby and try as I might, I cannot get this footage off the flash drive. It's a SanDisk 16GB Memory Stick PRO Duo. I feel like I've tried everything and it seems like it's somehow corrupt, but here's the kicker. The footage, when played on the camera, is fine. Perfect even. I plugged the camera directly into the PC and make sure it's on USB Mode Mass Storage, can't get anything. I take the stick out and put it in a card reader, which then implies that it needs to be formatted. I even plugged it into my Scanner's MS DUO slot. Nothing. I downloaded the basic Sony consumer program that's supposed to be used to get the footage (I'm a videographer, so I wouldn't normally use these kinds of packaged tools). Can't get it either. Finally, I used Recuva, and every file that it found claimed it was in Excellent condition, so I did a recovery, and every video file it got was garbage. All static. Yet I can watch them right now if they're on the camera. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to get this footage off? Thanks.
