Weird noise from ODD when boot up/startup

Hi!
Is it normal noise for ODD when boot up/startup my PC?

It's brand new LG SuperMulti GH24NSD1. Just look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oH2RkwjBEUg.

I would rma the drive, or take back to store for replacement if you can, as they shouldn't make any noises like that at start up... is drive empty? if its got a disk in, it might be reading it. BUt if its empty it should be silent.
