Hi guys, just today I got my replacement psu from rma. its a seasonic x series 650w if that matters. Anyway I install it, and everything is working fine but I notice, a bright orange light coming from the back of the motherboard. Unfortunately I have no idea if this light was present when the old psu was being used (before that psu became faulty). the reason being, the cable tying was different and may have been in such a way that it may have blocked the light. Also the light cannot really be seen unless I take the side panel off as its being emitted from behind the mobo

When I say that everything is working fine, I mean: The pc boots, posts and runs normally, I can play intensive games and no errors seem to have transpired so far. The psu replacement seems successful from the looks of it.

But I just feel uneasy knowing there is a fairly sizable orange light running whenever the pc is ON (the orange light only shows when the pc is running and switches off when i press shutdown). Its the size of the light that makes me think "the computer wants me to see this". I do not notice let alone intentionally see the light during operation because the case panel covers it and when I look into the pc from the top 360mm fan vent I can't see it unless I really try to and even then, I only seem to see a ray of the orange light shone onto the inside part of the right case side panel.

Now the light seems to be coming from multiple LED's but it may be just reflections that make it look like that, so it could be just the mobo power indicator light being reflected which makes the light looks so sizable. But I'd rather ask the professionals anyway. I feel the need to mention that the motherboard is a GA z97 hd3.

I have pictures..

Solution
LED trace path lighting illuminates to show the separation of the PCB layers.

The Audio LED setting in BIOS controls that LED strip
Enables or disables the onboard audio LED. (Default: Enabled)
