Good day to you all,
it's the first time i come across such an incident. I have a dual core pentium pc with stock fan etc which is usually running many hours a day. I recently noticed that it is much more silent that it was! There are only two fans inside: The cpu and the psu fan, and both of them are running. My CPU temp according to intel XTU is average 34 degrees.

Do you think that there is a problem? (maybe PSU?) Should I take any measures?

Thank you in advance

Solution
As you say, both fans are running, so nothing to worry about.

Could be a multitude of causes..

Drop in ambient temperature..
Other devices making noise..
Less background processes causing heat..

As long as temperatures are fine and fans are running, I wouldn't worry.

Thank you very much for your quick reply! Do you know if there is a way to check the psu temperature?
A drop in ambient temperature could be a reason, because summer has passed away...
No devices (hard disks, gpus etc) were added or subtracted for the pc and as far as i know, i didnt cause any changes to the background tasks.

There's usually no way to check PSU temperature.
Some of the super-fancy corsair units had a USB plug you could tap into to check.

If you can put your hand on it and it's not red hot, it's usually fine.

Blowing dust out with a can of compressed air is quite fun. Just sayin. 😀

My PSU is just a classic one (rear fan) and not a fancy corsair :-(
But I've touched both rear and under- sides and they are just warm, not hot. So I suppose that there is no problem.
Yes 🙂 I' ve understood, will do!
