Weird pixel issues on new monitor

Just bought an HP 23cw and noticed some weird pixel patterns esp. on bright colors. I can clearly see vertical pixel rows on the blue apple menu button here for example. It's like every other row of pixels is smaller or something. Same goes for any other solid bright color like orange etc.
Has anyone experienced this? Should I just get a better monitor?

Yes alot of monitors have that. i suggest you get a ASUS Screen.

Its like Cameras, they say the $200 camcorders have Full HD, but if you see a $1000 Full HD camera it actually has way better video quality.

its a gaming screen so should not have the problem you see with the HP.
