Hello all,

Strange problem I would like advice on.

I have had my PC for 14 months without any problems, used as a media centre so wakes/sleeps for recording TV.

2 days ago it recorded 1 program in morning and then failed to start back up for 1 in evening. Started up but no response to keyboard/mouse, blank display.

Now it will no longer wake, have to switch off the power supply before it will respond again.

The other strange issue is that if I unplug the power for a while and then plug in, then power button does nothing. Need to wait for 3-5 minutes before PC will switch on.

So I a guessing motherboard or power supply. (Also I have re-installed windows 7 on a spare hard drive and no difference.)

Any ideas.....
