I am a IT student so you can use technical terms to help me out.

I have a weird problem, whenever I start certain games my computer will restart, no BSODs no Beeps nothing. It basically is like me hitting the restart button.

Before I go through what all I have tried so far here are the specs:
Mobo: P8P67-M
CPU: Intel i7-2600K
GPU: MSI GTX 760 (brand new)
PSU: 750 watt
CPU Cooler: noctua nh-d14
Case: Cooler Master HAF X (new generation)
RAM: 8GB 2-2gb, and 1 4gb stick.
HDD: Random Hitachi Hard drive (I know don't even say it)

So first off by no means this is a heat issue of any sorts HAF X along with Noctua nh-d14 is kind of over kill.
(Also I monitored heats when it restarts and they never go above 50 C)

I thought the GPU and CPU mite be drawing to much power from the PSU so I just did some benchmarks using intel burn test and MSI kombuster at the same time (No crash or restart)

After that of course I thought well hey mite be the driver so I did a brand new (CLEAN) install of the newest driver for my GPU. It still proceeded to restart when I started the different games.

I am kind of stumped currently, the only thing I haven't done is do a virus scan, which I have never heard of causing such a problem but I am going to run a full MBAM scan in safe mode (or off of HBCD) tonight to check.

If anyone has any ideas what it mite be please let me know.

I think it is most-likely the PSU but I don't have a PSU tester on hand, so what do you guys think, just buy a new PSU to test my theory or should I do something else?

Thank you.

Well what are the certain games that restart it, and what are the certain games that don't?

It might be a power issue, where your PSU is dying, and as soon as a demanding game starts up your GPU starts drawing too much power and your computer just drops. Try a different PSU if you can, buy at the store, return it if it doesn't make a difference.
