hello to eveybody, i have a weird problem with my asrock z370 extreme 4 mobo when i set the voltage to offset+40 and llc1 i have a stable oc with my delided 8600k at 5ghz with max vcore at 1.36 with intel burn test at very high setings
all working fine but if close the pc and turn the psu off for 5 minutes then the setings gone crazy the vcore never go up to 1.312 and dont pass any stress test, i add +70 to reach 1.36 again and if close the psu again for 5min vocre hits at 1.40+
whats wrong with this motherboard?? i try all bios and i replace the battery of the mobo but the problem remains
the mobo is new and it came with 1.80 bios installed

sorry for my bad english

Solution

good.
If you implement speedstep and adaptive voltage, your multiplier and the associated vcore will drop when the cpu has little to do.

sounds like a svid related issue... maybe there's a setting somewhere in BIOS

I found with a asrock z370M pro4 that bios level 3.10 made a big difference in overclocking.
I would do that update first.

There is also a possibility that your cr2032 motherboard battery is faulty and is not holding your settings froacross a power down.

im already to 3.10 bios and i replace the motherborad battery dont solve the problem, larry i serch the bios for a svid seting or something like that i dont find
anything.

i oc from bios now i have fixed vcore 1.35 with llc 1 under heavy load it reach 1.36 and runs well but i dont leave it with that voltage 24/7
thx for the answers guys
