Weird problem with my Silicon Power A30 1TB portable HDD

Two days ago my portable drive is start malfunctioning on windows 8.1. The problem is my drive is not accessible through "Windows Explorer" in windows 8.1 but accessible through "Command Prompt", "Disk Management" and in any Data Recovery Software in windows 8.1. But in windows 7 my portable is working perfectly no issue at all. I have tried connecting my portable on other PCs have windows 8.1 but same issue. In windows explorer when I access the drive it shows me an error i.e. "Location is not available, Access is denied". I don't know where the issue is either in windows or with my portable drive. I have tried many solutions on other forums like changing drive letter, chkdsk etc but not worked. Please help me to resolve this problem.

I have resolved my issue and it is related to windows security permission. Solution is mentioned below for those who are suffering this problem.

1) Go to Computer Management and select Disk Management
2) Right Click the drive and select Properties
3) Go to Security Tab and click EDIT button
4) Click Add button and write "Everyone" without quotes and click "Check Names"
5) Click OK and give all permission to "Everyone" user
6) Click apply and done.

The drive will then be available on other systems as mine now is. This issue occurred when "Everyone" user remove from security group.
