Hi guys, I have a problem with my power supply, I bought this on October 21, 2016 and have a 3 years warranty. But I have no Idea what happened to my PSU, the noise is not from the fan.
Q : What cause this noise and how to solve it?
Here's the footage

Gamemax sounds awful. Never really heard of them, it's bound to be a cheap thing with pretty green colors and an overrated wattage just to sell units to people who have a "more watts for less money" mentality.

Hope that didn't come out harsh, it's just the reality of cheap PSUs like these.

If you hit the fan with a stick, is the noise still there?

I have the exact same issue, mine sounds more like a clicking-frying noise, like sparking but without any sparks. Noise comes and goes, if I restart my PC when the noise is gone it won't come again. I have been actually been rendering the past 15 hours without any noise coming from it. But, if I shutdown the PC and cold boot the noise comes for 5-10 minutes again and it will eventually go again if I dont stress the GPU. Weird things.. It is not the fan, it's either a transistor in my PSU or the big brown capacitor on the primary side of it. I will test it in another PC, as well as I will test another PSU in my PC to determine if there's another part in my system causing this noise. Finally formatting and replacing PSU my last options...

If you can do it, it is not normal in under any conditions. If you can claim your warranty, do it. If not replace it. It might not be that dangerous, but that's at least what I did. I am waiting for the new one tomorrow.

Yes, it is very dangerous, a new power supply that does not make any strange sounds has a chance of destroying every single part of your pc at any moment.
So something like this which really sounds like some electricity problem probably has a much higher change
