weird reboot after new mobo.

hello. I have bought actually almost a new entire pc recently, but it started to do some weird stuff after the new mobo install.
the thing is: when I press to turn it on, it turn itself off sometimes (1 or 2 times or sometimes 0 haha) before proper turning on.
-But its working great with the exception of that. i've fresh formatted my hd and etc.
-i'm with my cpu overclocked to 4.0 pretty stable (but i tried to set it all to default in bios and... same thing)

i've some threads here about a " jmb storage controller" and the HD, and i thought that it could be it because the Hd is the only old hardware that I didn't change. all of my actual setup was running up ok in a crappier mobo (m5a78l-m lx v2).
if this could be it, can somebody explain me correctly what to do?

my setup:
galax gtx 970 oc
Amd fx8370e
1x8GB ram Corsair vengeance
1x2GB ram Corsair vengeance (both 1600)
psu cooler master gx650w
Mobo gigabyte ga 970a UD3P

Unplug the drive from SATA connector and check. If it's only about booting up the mobo then you don't need that drive at all.

well, i asked because i don't know if this can harm any hardware 🙁 and yep, i need the hd hhaha
