First off i have to say, that for whatever reason this does not happen when i tried recording my screen with a software so i had to use my phone.

Here is a video in discord, but same problems occur in chrome for example. https://streamable.com/kgpzr0

If you watch it all, you can see it keeps glitching and fixing itself

The problem is when i alt tab from any game into some programs or chrome this weird scrolling and some freezing behavior happens. Its sometimes unresponsive for a moment but its just visually. The only way i can fix it for a brief moment, is to alt tab back into the game for a split second and tab back out, but it will happen again. THIS HAPPENS ONLY WITH CHROME, but not firefox for some reason. I have no idea what could cause this, but for some reason i think its to do with hardware acceleration when a program uses it or maybe some weird screen tearing? If i turn hardware acceleration off in discord it stops happening there, so i believe it has to do be something with my GPU

I have a 7900 XTX GPU with a 180hz freesync monitor.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You might want to see if your motherboard is pending a BIOS update. I had a near similar issue with the screen tearing with black jagged edges until I decided to do two things, one, a BIOS update and then using DDU to remove all GPU drivers, then manually reinstalling the latest GPU driver sourced from GPU maker's support site(in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator).

For the sake of relevance, you're best off stating the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Hey thanks for the quick reply. I recently did update my BIOS to the latest version and also tried different GPU driver versions, currently sitting on the latest from AMD. Sadly the issue stil persists. What i havent tried is installing the driver as admin? I can try that.
