I want to get three monitors for a racing sim. At the moment i have a gtx 960 2gb vram. Im sure 2 gb vram wont be good enough. So the question is, should I buy a gtx 1050ti (4 gb VRAM), slot it into the first pcie slot and use its vram. to then put my gtx 960 into the second pcie slot and put them in SLI. Should I do this?

Solution
You cant SLI different cards together, mixing Vram sizes will default to the lowest common denominator, most Nvidia cards wont allow size mixing either, and the 1050Ti does not support SLI anyway.
