Recently my computer has been giving off a weird smell. It smells like it either coming from the two top fans on my PC or maybe from somewhere inside. the fans are right over the CPU GPU and power supply. I thought it might be that so I took it around and smelled inside of the slot next to the GPU. it didn't smell like the smell that I was only so I thought it must be the top 2 fans. the smell sort of smells like a rubber but not in a super burning way. the problem started after I moved my PC from my old house to my new house. that case I have is used but like I said I've been using it for over 6 months without this problem. the smell does fill up my whole room if my door is closed. I've never encountered this problem before and I thank everyone in advance for all help and support.

Solution
is the psu fan facing up or down and is it in the bottom of the case

having it on a carpet could very well be your problem as you could be "choking" the psu fan with the carpet , get a thin piece of wood big enough for the whole pc to sit on (shouldnt be expensive at all) and that should fix your problem

Okay thanks. I will try that and let you know if it works.

Okay so I tried that and the problem still persists. When I asked my dad (he builds computers all the time) he said it was just the smell of electronics. Is it possible that I just didn't notice it because of my huge(had lots of space and a tall ceiling) room in my old house or am I damaging something in my new house?

hmm that's really odd i think its just a combination of both to be honest, i would still keep on eye on temperatures to see if maybe something is running a bit hot because i know that as soon as computers get to a high temperature(not necessarily harmful temps) they can produce some smells
