Weird sound once in a while not sure if it is bad.

I just install a new Seagate hard drive today it is the newer model(so don't attack me) This is the model number st3000dm008. It doesn't make the click of death for sure, but I would have a sound like don de..? Not too sure how it sounds like. Is there a way for me to check how good/bad the hard drive is atm. I also read something online where it could just be like a hard click because it is going into power saving mode, but I have no clue how that sounds like so...

if you can boot windows and browse windows explorer then i'm sure that you're okay. did you buy the hard drive new?

Yes this is my second hard drive.
