Weird water stains on my monitor.

Please check the images, as I am not sure what are the marks on my monitor.

It looks like water trapped behind the cover on my monitor and the LCD screen, but when I touch it, it is not moving.

It started as a small 2" size mark, and in 4 months it spread to almost half of the screen.

Please let me know your thoughts about it, and possible solution.

Pics are a little close IMO to definitively say....... but to me that looks like there has been excessive pressure applied (perhaps in cleaning).

Get a new monitor. Could be moister leaked into your panel or the panel is seperating.

Fixing monitor panels is only reasonable under warranty. If your monitor isn't under warranty the only fix is buy a new one. Maybe use that one as a securtiy cam monitor as the problem may not show in black in white. You could try lower resolution but still may be to visable.

Ouch. I don't think there's much of a 'solution' to be had. You're either looking at replacing the panel, or just replacing the monitor.

I would assume the new monitor route would be in the same ballpark price-wise, and a lot less hassle.
