Good Day, I had this weird problem on my PC. Tried to boot up my pc, then it posts a blue screen.
It says Error: 0xc0000221.
I just used it the day before and it works fine, I didn’t install anything or whatsoever.

I called it weird because I opened up the tempered side panel to check if something odd happened and tried to boot again, and magically it boots into windows perfectly.

What’s the deal with that? Is it a chassis problem?

Solution
its not a chassis problem, likely that was just a coincidence that it started after opening side up.

Try some of these, you don't need 1 since it works now and I wouldn't do 5 & 6 either - https://appuals.com/how-to-fix-pc-device-repair-error-0xc0000221/

in case it happens again,
Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

  1. copy that file to documents
  2. upload the copy from documents to a file sharing web site,
  3. and share the link in your thread so we can help fix the problem
