Question Weirdest thing ever happened to me in 30 years of owning computers

A few days ago all of a sudden my antivirus (kaspersky) popped a message saying my license have been canceled with no explanation .
I checked and indeed they canceled it for no reason , i decided to uninstall it and buy a different antivirus (Norton) .
Since then every time i shutdown my pc it activated by itself 3-5 minutes after i shut it down .
I never had this strange thing before .
What makes it even stranger is that when i hard shut down the pc by pressing the power button for several seconds the pc not activated .
I tried to delete the new antivirus but it still happen .
Any ideas? i'm completely lost here

Kaspersky was banned in the US back in Sept of 2024 due to detected spying activity. Kaspersky can no longer sell or update its product here in the states anymore.

Norton isn't a product I would recommend but in spite of that don't really fault it for the issue you are seeing here. I would suspect either you have something running that is not allowing the PC to go completely off, more like a sleep or suspended state and is waking from that.
It could also be mere coincidence that something else has an issue right at this same time.

Would check running processes for anything unusual. Would make sure Norton is uninstalled and assuming you are on W10 or W11 would look into how to re-enable Defender and how to do an online scan, if possible.

Re-install the OS from a clean install - wipe the drive after saving your data, then install OS
