well GTX 1080 FTW3 TI SLI fit on a Asus MAXIMUS IX HERO ATX LGA1151 MOBO?

so im working on a monster of a 4k build and im wondering well two GTX 1080 TI FTW3 cards fit SLI on a maximus ix hero mobo? i was wondering if the mobo's pcie slots were 2 inches apart from each other avoiding sandwitching the cards together due to throttle theres a link down below showing my specs and all if im able to fit 2 1080 ti's on the mobo with some breather room that be good to know!

SLI really is worth it, it only gives some improvement in games that support it.

And those games are getting less as time goes on.

Yes it will fit,
I have 2 Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB STRIX GAMING OC cards that are 2.5 slot width on a Asus ROG X Code, would like a bit more space between them, but fit fine and temps are good.
