I posted here a while ago about ati tray tools


How when i enable triple buffering my fps drops next load on map..


Well if i turn Textures to med then this issue is gone.. so i am
gussing bf2 or att doesnt get rid of old video memory.. but i dont
really know


anyone have an idea

One tip with BF2 , whenever you change the video settings, it creates a new
folder in the

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR COMPUTER NAME\My Documents\Battlefield
2\mods\bf2\cache

but as it doesn't delete the older folders, you have to do it yourself, if
not you end up with LOADS of different folders in that cache folder, which
slows things down a lot.

So just delete them all, next time BF2 starts, it will make a new one.
They are named something silly like....

{D7B71EE2-160D-11CF-2B6A-0823A1C2CB35}_2484_3
