G4 sucks B@lls. Maybe those $hit bags known as APPLE should learn how to support standards.

Well the Athlon is way cheaper then the G4. Dollar for Dollar the Athlon whips the G4.

Apple's only good program that people use ! Photoshop ! sucks for MAC. The P4 with the SSE2 Plug-ins whips any Mac System till it bleeds. P4 1.7ghz , Athlon 1.33ghz vs. G4 733 LOL LOL... SSE2 is the MAC killer in photoshop.

The only nice Intel guy.

I applaud apple for their innovative ideas.....I wish the PC market was more like that. But at the same time, I agree that Apple needs to get with industry standards and make their products available to third party developers. So I guess you are right, apple sucks.

I only use PCs, mostly because I cannot afford a Power Mac, and I like to play games. The people who usually say "Macs suck" are referring to the iMac or the all-in-one design versions, but the Power Macs are awesome tools for multimedia. Check out this movie, Duality, it was all created only using Macs.

One thing that always drove me crazy with MACS is the one button mouse. WTF, why can't you put two or three buttons on it? (I think they finally fixed this)

good things about macs:

1. DVD-R with most machines.
2. OS X is UNIX (and not anything to do with Microsoft!).
3. Fairly quiet machines.
4. Nice looking Interface.
5. Firewire standard with all machines

Now we've got that out of the way, here's the bad things about macs:

1. Overpriced
2. Slow machines and processors
3. ATI Rage 128 with many machines
4. iMacs look crap (that's what I think anyway!)
5. No SCSI any more.
6. Slow machines and processors

8. Incompatible software
9. No proper virtual memory or multitasking (at least before OSX)
10. Small hard disks
11. Not enough memory
12. Overpriced

14. Rapid execution engine doesn't deliver
