most cases use different markings for the different motherboards,there is normally a key somewhere on the case.
The easiest way would be to just lay the motherboard in your case and fit the stand-offs where the holes line up.

Your motherboard should have come with a manual that explains where the standoffs go for certain size motherboards (atx, matx, etc.). Every case is a little different. Also, some motherboard are in between sizes. My extreme 4 Z77 is like a cross between matx and atx.
