Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB vs Toshiba 2TB

What is the difference between those two storages apart of the capacity?

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
Toshiba 2TB

Same 64mb cache. Same 7200 rpms. Same sata 6gb per second. Not much really.

I personally prefer WD, because I've seen a lot of Seagates go bad. That could just be my personal experience though.

...actually it's a Toshiba. Just saw that. lol Yeah I'd still personally go with a WD.

I personally agree.. I couldn't really find anything different, however WD disks are known as the most reliable. I asked this question in order to find out if it is worth saving about £15 by going for Toshiba 2T disk and rather investing those £15 to SSD which I was planning to add later on. I don't think Toshiba disks are any worser than WD however the only interesting thing is that WD is more popular and therefore people think it is also more reliable.
