Western Digital drive not recognised

Hey guys,
I just build my new computer and everything is working fine, apart from the fact that my 1TB WD Blue drive isn't recognised. I am booting off of a 120gb SSD and that is recognised (Obviously). The WD Drive does show up in the device manager though. Although the HDD is recognised in the BIOS, it is not in Windows 8 File Explorer.
I was just wondering if anyone had any reasons or fixes to this.

Hi there Toby Anderson,

Is the drive recognized by Disk Management? Most probably you should just initialize, partition and format it.
