so do i use wd sata or regular sata into my brand new comp? wat is the diff?

what are the makes of the HDD, because there is no difference in connection speed of a SATAII on one HDD and SATAII on another.

The WD retail-packaged drives may come with a SATA cable that plugs in a little bit more securely to WD drives, if that's what you're referring to.

Whereas an oem drive is just the bare drive in an anti-static bag. Your motherboard box should have enough SATA cables.
