Western Digital or Seagate?

The WD is slightly faster and the Seagate is slightly quieter...theres not a whole lot in it really.

""slightly quieter...""

Really, just "slightly"? I can see you have earphones on all the time playing games or earplugs when not playing them.

Well I have 80gig WD specail edition in one of the computers next to me, and its not very loud. Its only slightly louder than my seagate drives. Its not really noticable over the noise of the fans.

I'm currently using a Seagate IDE HDD and it runs pretty quiet. Seagate is your best bet.
